Ultimately, individual hair condition/texture etc will affect the duration/turn out so it will differ with individual.
Bleached Hair
1) Keep hair washing to a minimum - wait at least 48 hours before first wash
2) Avoid Heat Styling tools unless it is absolutely required
3) Do not brush your hair when wet
4) Avoid Swimming - due to the chlorine in the pool
5) Use Color-Preserving shampoo when washing your hair and utilise hair color mask
6) Check with your hair stylist on your regular hair products
Coloured Hair
1) Reduce water temperature when washing your hair
2) Avoid Swimming - due to the chlorine in the pool
3) Use Color-Preserving shampoo when washing your hair and utilise hair color mask
4) Check with your hair stylist on your regular hair products
Permed Hair
1) Wait at least 48 hours before initial hair wash
2) Products that are made for chemically treated hair should be used - you can check with your hair stylist if your current hair products are suitable + ask for recommendations if necessary
3) Avoid doing hair color for at least a week after perm
4) Avoid brushing your hair for a week to allow your perm to set. After a week, use wide-toothed combs to gently brush your hair
5) If possible, avoid use of other styling tools like irons and curlers
6) Avoid Swimming - due to the chlorine in the pool
Rebond Hair
1) Wait at least 48 hours before initial hair wash
2) Avoid using hair ties
3) Take your time to condition your hair when washing
4) Avoid heat styling and Swimming - due to chlorine in the pool
5) Avoid doing hair color for at least a week after rebond
6) Check with your hairstylist about your hair product
